Bike World Explores Myanmar (BWEM) can assist you if you are interested in cycling. Current activities include:
Friday night city ride. This ride generally commences at 10pm and finishes around midnight, some 20 miles are ridden around the streets of Yangon and surrounds. Participation is free, riders must wear light coloured tops, helmets and good front and rear lights. Interested people can contact Bike World on Kan Road, Hlaing Township or by telephone at 525820
Sunday morning mountain biking. Departs #10F Khabaung Road in Haling Township at 6.30am on Sunday mornings and returns ~1pm. Bikes are loaded onto a light truck and together with the bikes participants are driven some 30 miles from Yangon where the ride commences.
Participation is Kyats 3000 per person, to cover fuel costs for the vehicles. Interested people can contact Bike World on Kan Road, Hlaing Township or by telephone at +95 1 525820.
